Northern Territory Police have charged a man after a woman was found deceased at a residence in Leanyer last week.
A 56-year-old man was arrested in Rosebery shortly after the incident and detectives from Major Crime have now charged him with murder.
He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court tomorrow.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Morrissey said “Investigations surrounding the death remain ongoing.”
