Police are continuing to seek public assistance to locate 32-year-old Justin Silver, who remains missing after his vehicle was located at Mount Barney last week.
Justin, from Yarrabilba, was last seen on Thursday, 10 September and has not contacted family or friends since, which is out of character.
His white 2013 Land Rover, bearing Queensland registration 831VLP, was located on Wednesday, 16 September at the Yellow Pinch Carpark, off Upper Logan Road.
The vehicle appeared to have been parked at the location for several days, possibly since 10 September.
Police and emergency services have conducted searches of the Mount Barney area as investigations continue into Justin’s whereabouts.
Police are appealing to anyone who has been in the Mount Barney area since 10 September, particularly bushwalkers and visitors to the Yellow Pinch Carpark, to consider whether they may have seen Justin or his vehicle.
Investigators would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage or other vision from the Yellow Pinch Carpark or surrounding roads during this period.
Justin is described as African in appearance, approximately 180cm tall, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has seen Justin or has information that may assist police to locate him is urged to come forward.
