Police update: Murder charge at Fortitude Valley, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man they would like to speak to as part of the investigation into the murder of a 24-year-old man at Fortitude Valley on July 11.

Operation Uniform Mechanical was established following the incident, with investigations identifying that the man (pictured) was at the scene witnessing the incident and may be able to assist in enquiries.

He is described as aged in his late 20s to early 30s, Caucasian in appearance, between 180-190cm tall with a proportionate build and brown or ginger coloured hair and beard. Along with tattoos on his neck, left hand and a distinctive bird tattoo on his left forearm.

The man was seen wearing several items of clothing over the morning of July 11, including a beige ‘LA’ cap, black pants, nike runners and a black adidas t-shirt along with a light coloured hoodie and a bright blue puffer jacket.

Police appeal to the man, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
