A 35-year-old woman who was rescued on the Tiwi Islands on Monday after being reported missing on Sunday has, sadly, passed away in Royal Darwin Hospital.
There are no suspicious circumstances and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Out of respect for the family, there will be no further police comment.
