Police update: Shooting incidentin Richlands

A man has been charged after a shooting incident at Richlands last week.

Around 9.30am on January 7, emergency services responded to a Zerlotti Street address and found an 18-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his legs.

A 29-year-old man was located at an Inala address and taken into custody without incident.

The man has since been charged with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, threatening violence, deprivation of liberty and other drug and weapon related charges.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for vision as investigations continue.

Three men, dressed in dark clothing and aged in their twenties left the scene on foot, and were believed to use a small alleyway between Zerlotti Close to access Archerfield Road.

Anyone who witnessed the trio, with or without dashcam and CCTV footage captured between 9-10am on Archerfield Road, are encouraged to come forward.

It is believed the men were known to each other.
