Detectives have charged a man with murder following the suspicious death of a man at Nerang on Saturday, May 24.
Police and emergency services were called to a hotel on Station Street around 11.15am, following reports a man had been located unresponsive in a room.
The 35-year-old Nerang man was declared deceased at the scene.
Late yesterday, detectives charged a 34-year-old Nerang man with one count of murder. He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today, May 29.
