In February this year the Legislative Councilpassed a motion requiring the Ombudsman
to investigate some matters, including issuesrelating to the alleged politicisation of the publicservice.
This paper summarises the public policy issuesraised by the Referral and calls for individualsand organisations to provide information toassist the investigation.
