Positive Covid Case Update 13/10

Four new COVID-19 cases has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.

Two siblings, a 13-year-old male and a 10-year-old male who arrived on the repatriation flight from Istanbul on 2 October, have tested positive for COVID-19 and are displaying mild symptoms.

A 13-year-old male, who arrived on the repatriation flight from Pakistan on 25 September, has tested positive for COVID-19 and is asymptomatic.

A 45-year-old male, who arrived on the repatriation flight from India on 10 October, has tested positive for COVID-19 and is displaying mild symptoms.

All cases are under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

Since repatriation flights to the NT began on 23 October 2020:

· 17,689 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience.

· A total of 222 positive COVID-19 cases have been overseas-acquired, 152 of which have been reported from international repatriation.

· There are currently six active cases in the NT, which are in care at the Centre for National Resilience.
