The Powering the Regions Fund (PRF) Critical Inputs to Clean Energy Industries – Cement, Lime, Alumina and Aluminium Sector (CICEI – CLAAS) grant program is now open for applications.
The $200 million CICEI – CLAAS will provide support to help Australian producers in the relevant sectors reduce their emissions and maintain domestic manufacturing capacity.
This will reduce risks to our clean energy transformation which relies on these materials.
The PRF is part of Powering Australia plan for Australia to become a renewable energy superpower and reduce our emissions to net zero by 2050.
