A Prahran mum in her 70s is still pinching herself after discovering she had won a whopping $5 million in last night’s Powerball draw.
The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1541, drawn Thursday 27 November 2025.
Powerball is on a winning streak, delivering back-to-back division one wins following last week’s $5 million jackpot won by a triumphant Brisbane woman in Mount Gravatt.
The winning woman from last night’s draw was driving beside one of her beloved sons when we reached out to confirm her newly-minted multi-millionaire status.
“You’ve just changed my life!” she exclaimed.
“Thank you very much! It feels like I’m still in a dream.
“We’re very excited and very shocked!”
The woman’s son had a few words of his own to add.
