Internationally renowned electronic acts The Presets (DJ Set) and Sneaky Sound System will be joined by a string of performers and entertainment on Saturday, 18 June at the inaugural Hume Winter Lights Festival.
Set in the iconic Town Hall Broadmeadows and outdoor surrounds, Hume City Council’s new after dark event will unite music and art lovers and captivate the senses through live music, large scale art projections, fire-based performers, interactive art displays and food.
Large-scale artworks, including those by Hume artists, will enchant attendees and be the backdrop for the evening as they are projected onto the award-winning architecture of the Town Hall and other buildings in the precinct.
Revellers will be dancing into the night to local and acclaimed music acts including DJ MzRizk, DJ Emma Peters and Super Mande Percussion, or the beat of their own drum at an African Drumming Workshop.
As the winter night sets in, attendees can warm up at the indoor bar with some mulled wine or book a private igloo and enjoy local food and wine with friends under the night sky.
