Significant progress is being made on Council’s major construction projects in Bombala and Delegate, with brand new water treatment plants for both towns on-track to open in the second half of 2024.

Supply chain delays and wet weather across the region in recent months have seen the opening dates for each of these new facilities pushed back.

Bombala’s new water treatment plant is now set to open in July 2024, with Delegate following later in the year in October 2024.

Despite these delays, Council and our contractors have made significant progress on each of these projects.

We’re excited to share how things are tracking, and will keep the community updated as we approach the grand opening of each of these new facilities.
