A Protective Services Officer has been charged following an internal investigation.
The PSO has been charged with recklessly cause serious injury and recklessly cause injury and unlawful assault.
The PSO was off-duty at the time of the incident in Sunbury on 15 October 2018.
He is expected to face court at a later date.
The member is currently suspended with pay.
