Police allege around 9.30pm a 36-year-old Bahrs Scrub man was assaulted by three men outside an establishment on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road. The victim sustained significant facial injuries and was transported to Prince Alfred hospital.

Police attended the incident and two men were taken into custody. A 26-year-old and a 51-year-old, both from Beenleigh, were charged with one count of common assault and one count of grievous bodily harm. They are both due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 28.

A third man (pictured below) left the scene before police arrived. He is described as Caucasian with short dark hair and was wearing a blue t-shirt, light coloured shorts and a white cap. He is believed to be aged in his twenties.

Anyone who may recognise the man is urged to contact police immediately.
