Public place shooting – Lurnea

An investigation is underway after a public place shooting in Sydney’s south-west.

About 11.20pm yesterday (Friday 30 June 2023) officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command responded to reports of shots having been fired into a home on Hill Road, Lurnea.

Officers have been informed that a car was seen to drive away from the location immediately after the shooting.

A crime scene was established, and the area examined by specialist police.

There were no reports of injuries.

As inquiries continue police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time with any available dashcam to contact Liverpool Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
