Pursuit driver sought at Nowra, NSW

Inquiries are continuing to locate the driver of a car involved in several pursuits in Nowra.

At about 10pm yesterday (Monday 17 June) police on the Princes Highway in East Nowra saw a grey Holden Commodore that was believed to be stolen.

Officers indicated for the vehicle’s driver to stop. When the driver did not stop, a pursuit began.

The pursuit entered the Bomaderry area and continued to central Nowra, where it was terminated by police for safety reasons.

A second pursuit occurred about 2am today (Tuesday 18 June) on the Princes Highway after a vehicle similar in description sped away harshly to evade police near South Nowra. A pursuit was initiated and terminated shortly after.

Two additional pursuits have occurred today in the Nowra area with a vehicle similar in description.

Police from South Coast Police District are continuing their inquiries to locate the driver and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
