She had recently travelled to the United States of America.

  2. A 31-year-old male from the Gold Coast region with confirmed COVID-19 is in isolation in the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

He is a close contact of the 32-year-old female.

Contact tracing is underway for these two new cases, in addition to the previously confirmed cases. We will notify the community if any other public health alerts are required.

We are in the process of directly contacting people who shared close contact with the 22-year-old male, confirmed with COVID-19 on 10 March 2020, on the University of Queensland campus.

As a precaution, we are asking anyone who attended Friday’s Riverside in Brisbane City from 6pm Friday afternoon and 11pm Monday evening, who becomes unwell to contact 13 HEALTH and advise that you were at the venue during these times.
