The national employer association Ai Group congratulates the Palaszczuk Government on its re-election for a third term.
Ai Group’s Queensland Head, Rebecca Andrews, said: “At no other time in recent memory will the Queensland Government have a more challenging and important role to play in promoting economic activity.
“Queensland industry needs the re-elected government with its boosted majority to flick the switch from COVID response to economic growth by delivering a strong vision that promotes consumer and business confidence and supports investment.
“With a four-year term ahead the Premier has the time and opportunity to make long-term decisions that will turn the State’s economy around.
“We look forward to working with all major parties during the term in the best interests of our members and the community,” Ms Andrews said.
