Queensland has one new case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to report today, bringing total cases to 1,089.
The confirmed case recently returned from overseas. The case was detected and remains in hotel quarantine. They are therefore not currently considered to be a risk to the public.
Queensland currently has 11 active COVID-19 cases. Four of these cases are in hospital.

It is vital that anyone in Queensland, especially if you’ve been interstate in the last 14 days, gets a COVID-19 test if you develop symptoms, even if mild. Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, and fatigue.
