Rebranded Focus Care Solutions positioned for growth in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven Region

Australian aged care and dementia care provider Focus Care Solutions has confirmed a major rebrand to become Focus Home Care as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver best-practice home care in the Shoalhaven.

The company has also revealed a stand-alone disability support service Focus Disability Services in response to rapidly growing demand for its disability support services across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, including the communities of Nowra, Jervis Bay and Sussex Inlet.

In addition to a new name, the rebrand includes a new website that has a fresher look, is easier to navigate and is a go-to resource for industry and in-house news and tips for those receiving care and their families.

Focus Home Care CEO Christina Harlamb said the rebrand would support its position as an innovative aged care, dementia care and now disability support provider for the coastal region.

“As an aged care, dementia care and now disability support provider that prides itself on trust and reliability, this is an important step in developing and new identity as we experience a period of unprecedented growth,” Ms Harlamb said.

Ms Harlamb said she was especially pleased to be able to make Focus Home’s care’s innovative dementia care services, based on Montessori methods, available to thousands of families across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.

“Our dementia care approach is based on the principles of the Montessori Method, which involves working with every client’s strengths, supporting memory loss to create an environment that promotes independence and the best possible quality of life for people living with dementia,” she said.

“Our care staff are specially trained to deliver dementia care using Montessori methods and we’re excited to bring this service to regional NSW.”

Focus Home Care care worker Victoria said she was proud to be able to help deliver care to those in her local Nowra community.

“Working with Focus Home Care gives me the opportunity to get involved within the community and allows me to follow my passion in assisting and caring for older people,” she said.

“Many older people in the area have only their families to rely on and it’s so rewarding to be able to provide them with the extra support they need.

“It’s great to be able to care for our clients in the same way that I would like to be treated or how I would want mother to be treated, if she needed care. It’s that one-on-one tailored support that makes working at Focus Home Care so fulfilling.”

Ms Harlamb said the new-look brand was further proof the company’s high-quality services were resonating with Australians looking for gold-standard aged care, dementia care or disability support.

“This is an exciting time for us as the rebranding reflects both the evolution of Focus Care as well as our vision for the future, while retaining the high-quality level of care that our existing clients know us for.”
