Christmas time in Australia gives us a chance to reflect, take a moment and appreciate the things we may have overlooked during the rush of a busy year.
In exchange for the snow, Christmas jumpers and other emblems that make a traditional “white Christmas”, we are able to enjoy the warmer weather, take time away if we choose before starting fresh in the new year, or continue to engage with our community in meaningful through service.
For those who celebrate Christmas it’s a time of reflection on the teachings of the church, while others are able to share in the spirit that really is all around at this time of year.
