Queensland is counting down to Youth Week, a celebration of the talent, achievement and contribution of young people aged 12 to 25 years from 7-13 April.

Youth Week in Queensland is delivered by the Miles Government in partnership with local government and community-led organisations.

From stand-up comedy and arts festivals to sporting competitions, the Queensland Youth Week website has a calendar of events to encourage young Queenslanders to explore their interests, develop their talents and connect with their local community.

More than 110 Youth Week events were held across the state last year.

Young First Nations leaders who completed the 2023 Queensland Indigenous Youth Leadership Program (QIYLP) are driving celebrations in their communities with funding support from the Miles Labor Government.
