Sunraysia residents intending to burn-off on their properties ahead of the imminent start of the Fire Danger Period are reminded it is a requirement to obtain a Local Law Permit to Burn.
Permits are required to burn-off on irrigated horticulture properties outside of the Fire Danger Period and can be obtained by visiting www.mildura.vic.gov.au and searching for ‘fire permit’. Permits will not be issued and no longer be valid at the commencement of the Fire Danger Period.
