Renowned Future Laboratory Comes to Ballarat

Business and industry providers will be informed of the global drivers that will shape Ballarat for the next 5+ years when the City of Ballarat hosts an exclusive session of The Future Laboratory.

The Future Laboratory is one of the world’s most renowned futures consultancies, working with internationally recognised brands including Google, Facebook, Ikea and Westfield.

This informative presentation will be held at the Eureka centre on Tuesday, November 12 from 10am-12noon. Bookings are via Eventbrite.

Focusing on the six global drivers that represent the shifting cultural, economic, environmental, political and social landscape affecting consumers, the presentation will have a strong visitor economy focus but will also cover the broader retail, leisure and hospitality sectors. The Future Laboratory is a must for any business interested in future consumer behaviours and finding out how to adapt to these changes and plan for their own growth.

The event promises to be confronting, thought provoking and inspiring – but will leave participants armed with a host of your new ideas for their business. It is a rare opportunity for Ballarat to access these global insights delivered with a specific focus on Ballarat.

The cost of the presentation is being subsidised (just $20) to give Ballarat industry access to a company at the forefront of consumer trends and behaviour forecasting.

The Future Laboratory is part of a successful calendar of events delivered by Council’s Economic Development unit, featuring high profile speakers including Mel Neil and Bernard Salt, designed to shape the future growth and vibrancy of our city to make Ballarat Bigger, Bolder, Better.
