Police are investigating an overnight robbery where two offenders forced entry to a home in Marnham Street, Acacia Ridge.
Just before 11pm, the two men, once inside, made their way to a bedroom where they threatened a man and woman with a hatchet and a crowbar, demanding car keys to a Hyundai i30 and a mobile phone.
The man with the crowbar was described as late 20’s Caucasian, about 170cm tall, slim build with brown, buzz-cut hair wearing a grey jacket.
The other man was described as Caucasian, about 40-years-old, about 170cm tall, slim build, brown, buzz-cut hair, and a tattoo in cursive writing under his left eye. He was wearing a t-shirt and black tracksuit pants.
Police believe there was a third man keeping watch outside.
The three men fled in the white Hyundai i30 (pictured) and their mobile phones.
Police are seeking anyone with information or with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to contact police.
