Robbery with violence in Mundingburra, QLD

Police are investigating a robbery with violence in Mundingburra early this morning.

Around 5am a woman was driving her Mercedes Benz sedan on Ross River Road when three stolen vehicles manoeuvred around her to stop her. Four first nations youths approached her vehicle and smashed the driver’s side window.

The youths verbally threatened the woman and she surrender the vehicle to them.

The 59-year-old woman was not physically injured during the incident.

The Mercedes was located abandoned on Bayswater Road at Mount Louisa around 7am today.

A crime scene was declared, and CIB are investigating.

Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam in the vicinity of the incident and the abandoned vehicle.
