Well into a decade of operation, Ignite Digi specialise in crafting premium camera and gimbal accessories for the global film and TV industry.

Ignite Digi’s products are highly sought after and are used on the sets of Netflix and Disney+ series, and commercials for Apple, Aston Martin to name a few.

Minister for Advanced Manufacturing and Defence Industries and Minster for the Arts, Madeleine Ogilvie said Ignite Digi is proof that innovation paired with targeted Government support can lead to success.

“Tasmanian advanced manufacturers are renowned for their creativity and excellence of their products. “This has a positive impact on building a stronger economy that delivers both jobs and opportunities for Tasmanians.”

Operating from a cutting-edge facility in Hobart, Digi Ignite has received three grants under the Rockliff Liberal Government’s Advanced Manufacturing Grant program, including almost $100,000 from the Advanced Manufacturing Accelerating Growth Grant Program.

The Program has now closed, with four successful rounds completed.

Thirty-eight applicants received $3 million in support over the duration of the program, which is forecast to generate an extra 212 manufacturing jobs across the state.

Ignite Digi is a great example of the importance of this program and the success that it supports for not just companies, but for communities and the broader economy.

Ignite Digi has become a go-to in the production of accessories and cables compatible with renowned camera and gimbal models like MōVI Pro, Ronin 2, and ALEXA Mini, and customers and industry professionals praise the quality, functionality, and durability of its products.
