Willoughby City

Council is calling for registrations of interest (ROI) from groups wishing to apply for a concessional rate for use of in Council’s community facilities and public spaces between January 2024 and December 2025.

If you wish to apply for concessional (subsidised) hire you must complete a concessional hire application form. Prior to completing this application form you should read and understand the WCC Community facilities hire policy. For concessional hire eligibility and exclusion criteria please refer to section 7 of the policy.

A list of the relevant Council facilities and spaces is located at the back of Council’s Community facilities hire policy – Appendix B. Prior to submitting an ROI concession application, hirers are also encouraged to:

  • access an up-to-date list of venues and the types of events or activities that are suitable for each from the facility or from Council’s website.
  • discuss their specific facility and hire needs with the Facility Team Leader or Booking Officers to determine the most appropriate venue.

Hirers need to make application for each facility or public space and activity they conduct as they may fall into different hirer categories subject to the purpose of the hire. Please also note concession applications will not be assessed until any outstanding fees have been paid in full.

Applications can be submitted through Willoughby City Council’s online application system.

To be considered within the current ROI round your completed application and all supporting documents must be received by Council by 5pm, Monday 11 September 2023.
