The 2023 season has wrapped up and Rosewood’s under 11’s team has triumphed, taking out the QCSA Premiership for 2023. In an unprecedented display of teamwork, the under 11’s have excelled every match this session. The Rosewood United Soccer Club has grown and demonstrated an amazing swell of support in the region.

“The team has come a long way. This is their first year on the full-sized field and for many of them it is their first year playing soccer. In my eyes they are champions with the level of sportsmanship I saw each and every game”, said Tori-Lee Ross today, this years under 11’s coach.

Club President Tammy Crawford has led the club this year and her dedication and commitment has resulted in an amazing outcome for a community that is fast growing and getting behind the club at every step of the way.

“Rosewood is a family club and we all pitch in as a community. Next year we are growing and delivering even more with an over 30’s team, an all-girls under 14 team and we are investing in an under 17’s developmental team, said Rosewood United Club President, Tammy Crawford today.

“We had 2 teams make it to preliminary finals and this year we had a new senior women’s team as well.

This weekend saw the clubs award presentations at Rosewood with a huge community day for families, featuring jumping castles, snow cones, fairy floss, more sausages than could ever be eaten and awards at all levels for outstanding achievements.

“These are country kids, and a grubby kid is a kid that has had fun. We saw plenty of that this season and today with a little rain that made the day even more fun”, said Rosewood United Club President, Tammy Crawford.
