The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide welcomes members of the public to attend its hearings in Brisbane from next week.
Community members are invited to register their attendance for the ceremonial hearing, and the first hearing block on Eventbrite.
Both hearings will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Glenelg Street, South Brisbane.
The ceremonial hearing, on Friday 26 November, will explain how the Commissioners will conduct the inquiry. The first block of public hearings, where participants will give evidence, begins in Brisbane on Monday 29 November.
Due to COVID regulations and capacity limits, members of the public proposing to attend either hearing must pre-register.
Anyone unable to attend the ceremonial hearing in person can view proceedings via the Royal Commission website or Facebook page. Hearing block 1 will be live streamed on the website.
