RSPCA SA seeks public help to locate owner of stray dog found in Elizabeth Downs

RSPCA South Australia is seeking public help to locate the owner of a young, female, mixed-breed dog found on Tuesday evening.

A member of the public found the dog wandering at large in Argana Park, located off Midway Road in Elizabeth Downs.

The dog was taken to the Animal Welfare League’s shelter at Edinburgh North before being transferred into RSPCA SA’s care yesterday.

The friendly-natured, tan-coloured dog was not wearing a collar and is not microchipped. She weighs just 10 kilos and is in emaciated condition. RSPCA SA’s vet team is now overseeing the dog’s refeeding plan to ensure she gains weight safely.

Anyone with information in relation to this dog is urged to contact RSPCA on: 1300 4 777 22
