As put by Stephen Mullighan

Today’s record result demonstrates that our economy is continuing to hold up in the face of national economic headwinds.

Our relative economic strength has been highlighted by our unemployment rate now being the second lowest in the country and lower than the national average.

Our economy has also been recognised in a raft of independent reports, with CommSec recently ranking the South Australian economy second in the nation.

Our continued investment and industry support provides a steady foundation for a labour force that grows from strength to strength.
