Saving our Species Summer newsletter

Welcome to the summer edition of the Saving our Species (SoS) newsletter. December 2018 marked five years since the SoS program was first launched, providing the perfect opportunity to reflect on the positive outcomes SoS is achieving for threatened plants and animals in New South Wales.

In this newsletter, we share some of the key SoS highlights of last year.

In addition we feature stories on species that have been released back into the wild, and the importance of partnerships and collaboration in protecting threatened species. It also shares the latest on koala conservation efforts, pollination to protect plants and profiles an SoS team member who is making a difference on the ground.

As work continues across summer we would like to take this opportunity to recognise those who are working on the program (and in threatened species conservation more generally) in what can be hot and unforgiving conditions!
