School fire – Quakers Hill, NSW

Police are appealing for information from the public as they investigate a fire which damaged a high school at Quakers Hill overnight.

Emergency services were called to the school on Lalor Road about 10pm (Saturday 29 December 2018), after reports of a break and enter.

Police discovered a fire in one of the classrooms and alerted officers from Fire & Rescue NSW, who extinguished the blaze.

It’s estimated the room sustained moderate damage, which police have been told is worth between $50,000 and $100,000.

Inquiries are now underway by officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command into the cause of the fire.
