The 2019/20 Screen Territory Grants Program Round 1 recipients have been named and the second round of funding is now open.
Territory audiences will be able to see and experience quality screen content with $35,500 in Audience Development funding provided to support regional film festivals including the Northern Territory Travelling Film Festival, Flickerfest 2020 NT Tour and Travelling Film Festival 2020.
Tamarind Tree Pictures has received $30,000 in Production Finance funding to support the production of Looky Looky Here Comes Cooky.
Five projects received a total of $50,000 in Project Development funding including:
- Night Patrol – Brindle Films
- The Long Punt – David Apanah
- Troppo – Alexandra Edmondson
- The Daily Grind – Chili Films
- Beating Diabetes: The Indigenous Way – Chili Films
Four projects received a total of $20,000 in Seed Funding including:
- White Blokes – Brindle Films
- Unchartered Territory – Sarah Ruben
- The Northerners – Caro MacDonald
- Hell Boyz – Thomas Midena
