Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are searching for a distinctive Holden Calais involved in several evade police incidents in the Doveton area last month.
Detectives were patrolling Lilly Pilly Avenue when they attempted to intercept the bright blue Holden Calais VF about 6.40pm on 20 October.
The driver failed to stop was last seen speeding east along Box Street.
Police also attempted to intercept what is believed to be the same vehicle in Dandenong and Noble Park earlier that week.
The male driver is perceived to be Southern European in appearance, aged between 25-30 with a bald head and was wearing a dark t-shirt.
The vehicle is a VF Calais model with silver front grill and a distinctive black GT stripe on the bonnet, displaying false number plates.
