The City of Ballarat’s 2019 Senior of the Year Awards will be presented at Ballarat Town Hall tomorrow.
This is the eleventh year the City of Ballarat has presented the awards, which recognise local residents aged 55 years and older who have made a significant contribution to the Ballarat community.
The Senior of the Year Awards also launch the 2019 Victorian Seniors Festival in Ballarat. See the full list of Ballarat events for the Seniors Festival now online at ballarat.vic.gov.au
The 2019 Senior of the Year Award categories are:
- Volunteering Award
- Healthy and Active Living Award
- Diversity Award
From these categories, the winner of the overarching 2019 Senior of the Year Award will be chosen.
