With Seniors Month set to commence in less than 10 days, the Council of the Ageing (COTA) NT has released the Northern Territory Seniors Month calendar, featuring more than 200 events across the NT.

Seniors Month is an opportunity for seniors to celebrate positive aspects of ageing and for all Territorians to recognise the contribution that Territory seniors make to our communities.

Events and activities range from yoga, gardening, tours, table tennis, line dancing, luncheons, cultural experiences and even a Mad Hatters Tea Party.

The Territory Labor Government has provided grants up to $2,000 to 44 organisations in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, Katherine, Pine Creek, Daly River and East Arnhem region to support events and activities in 2023.
