The Central West Community Services Expo will be held on Wednesday 6 September and service providers from across Orange, Cabonne, Bathurst and Cowra are being invited to register for the event.
Orange City Council’s Community Services team is organising the half-day expo and welcomes organisations from health, education, employment and housing to sporting and social groups, and everything in between.
CONNECTIONS: The Central West Community Services Expo aims to connect members of the community with services that can help improve their quality of life.
Orange City Council’s Services Policy Committee Chair, Cr Mel McDonell said the expo aimed to get as many Central West service providers as possible under the one roof.
“Many members of the community may not be aware of the wide range of services available in the region for them to access, while others many have disconnected from services or groups they have used in the past,” Cr McDonell said.
“This is the perfect opportunity to re-establish those connections and raise awareness of the services out there that can help improve people’s quality of life, wellbeing and social networks.”
The Central West Community Services Expo will be held from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 6 September in the Orange PCYC, 2-10 Seymour Street.
