Sexual assault investigation at Murray Bridge, South Australia

Police are investigating a sexual assault in Murray Bridge overnight.

About 12.30am on Tuesday 7 January a woman went outside into her driveway to put rubbish in the bin when she was approached from behind by an unknown man and sexually assaulted.

A second man in the vicinity called out to the offender and he walked off, last seen heading north on Joyce Street, Murray Bridge.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, average height and build and wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood pulled up, possibly over a peaked cap, and dark or black shiny parachute or nylon pants.

Anyone who may have been driving in the vicinity of Joyce Street around 12.30am is asked to check any dashcam they may have captured.
