We want your feedback on proposed changes to Climate Active.
Climate Active is an Australian Government program. It supports national climate policy by driving voluntary climate action.
The landscape for voluntary climate action is changing and Climate Active will continue to evolve to reflect this.
The consultation responds to calls from participants, stakeholders and growing community expectations.
The consultation paper sets out proposals to:
- raise the level of climate ambition and action to get certified
- better integrate Climate Active with other government climate objectives, and
- modernise the program’s operation.
We welcome your views on key issues and proposed reforms. Feedback from the consultation will give us the opportunity to strengthen the program. We want to ensure it continues to support credible, high-integrity climate action.
