Shire roads corridor tender now open

Mornington Peninsula Shire’s tender for Roads Corridor Maintenance is now open!

Council has begun a competitive tender process for the provision of roads corridor maintenance services to help ensure residents and visitors to the Mornington Peninsula experience a safe and well-maintained road network.

The successful tenderer will be responsible for maintenance of Council’s 1700 km road network as well as other infrastructure such as footpaths and drainage.

The Roads Corridor Maintenance tender is the first to be released under Council’s newly reshaped maintenance services delivery model ensuring effective and efficient management of its $2.3 billion worth of community assets.

Further tenders for Open Space, Tree Management and Bushland Management are to be advertised later this year. Buildings and facilities maintenance services are to be delivered through a series of direct service contracts planned for tender in 2023 along with a cleaning services contract.

Council’s maintenance services will be further supported by supplier panels, which will also be tendered in 2023.
