Shots fired at Sunnybank Hills, QLD

Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired into a house at Sunnybank Hills this morning.

Around 4am police were called to Goorong Street after reports of loud noises and vehicles driving off at speed.

Then, shortly before 7am officers were called back to a property on Goorong Street, where at least five shots were discovered discharged into the house.

The bullets went through the front windows and into the house.

A number of occupants were home at the time, however no one was injured during the incident.

A crime-scene has been established and investigations are continuing.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or something suspicious in the area – or may have any relevant footage from the vicinity at the time – to come forward.
