Shots fired in Ascot – Update

Detectives from the Gang Crime Squad have broadened their appeal for dash-camera vision relating to an incident in Ascot on Tuesday night, 2 March 2021.
Around 7:15pm, police were advised that gunshots were heard in the area. Police located empty shell casings in Artesian Lane which at the rear of homes on Sedgeland Way, Ascot.
Detectives believe that a stolen black 2017 model Porsche SUV, with WA Registration WMP888 was involved in the incident.
The Porsche was stolen from a home in Applecross on 21 February 2021. Police located the Porsche burnt out around 9:00pm last night near the intersection of Abernethy and Dundas Roads in High Wycombe.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone who drove in the following areas on Tuesday 2 March 2021 between 7:20pm and 7:40pm, and who have dash-camera vision of their trip, to provide their vision to Police:
• Abernathy Road (north and south bound); and
• Kalamunda Road (east and west) between Great Eastern Highway Bypass and Roe Highway.
