Shots fired into house in Greenacre

An investigation is underway following a public place shooting in Sydney’s south-west overnight.

About 1.10am today (Monday 7 February 2022), police were called to a house on Karuah Street, Greenacre, following reports shots had been fired.

On arrival, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command found a number of bullet holes in the front of the home.

At time there were three adults inside. There were no reports of injuries.

A crime scene has been established and will be forensically examined by specialist officers.

Detective have commenced an investigation into the matter.
