Snags, sunshine and good times ready to be fired up at Crescent Head Beach

Lunchtime by the beach has never looked so good with the new barbeques and a shelter settling in at Crescent Head foreshore.

The new set of burners means residents and visitors alike can once again enjoy the perfect combination of sun, surf and mouth watering meals at Killick Beach.

Kempsey Shire Council has successfully delivered an exciting renovation to the barbeque area, enhancing the overall experience for everyone.

The new barbeque area is not only modern and stylish, but also adds to the visual appeal of the foreshore.

Katy Rogan, Acting Coordinator of Civic Services at Council says the area is perfect for creating a picturesque setting for gatherings and picnics.

“Whether you are a resident or a visitor, we believe you will find this upgraded community space a perfect spot to relax, connect with loved ones and savor delicious meals in the idyllic beach setting” said Ms Rogan.

“We are confident people will create quintessential memories here, ones that they will cherish for a lifetime. We thank residents and visitors for their patience during the replacement to create a new and improved community area.”

Council began the replacement works in March, as the previous shelter and barbeque area had reached the end of its useable lifespan.

The decision to upgrade was driven by Council’s commitment to providing quality facilities and ensuring that Crescent Head foreshore remains an inviting and enjoyable destination for everyone.

Gather family and friends, fire up the barbeque and look forward to making memories at the Crescent Head Foreshore
