Horsham Highway Patrol intercepted a man allegedly speeding near Green Lake yesterday afternoon.
The black BMW was intercepted about 4.40pm on the Western Highway travelling at an alleged 164km/h in a 1000km/h zone.
The driver, a 20-year-old Werribee man was allegedly driving on a suspended probationary licence with four passengers aged between 14 and 16.
The vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1455.
The is expected to be charged on summons with speed dangerous, drive on suspend licence and overtake on double lines.
