NT WorkSafe has commenced an investigation into a crane rollover at the Rapid Creek flood mitigation construction site.

At approximately 1:15pm a non-slewing Mac 25 Crane (Franna Crane) carrying a shipping container toppled.

There were no reported injuries to the driver or any workers in the vicinity.

WorkSafe Inspectors have attended the site and a prohibition notice has been issued preventing further use of the crane.
