Mrs Pickering joined Inland Rail in 2018 and was appointed Acting Chief Executive in July 2021.
Mrs Pickering led the company through the Australian Government’s independent review into Inland Rail, helping to implement the recommendations of the review, including the creation of the new Inland Rail subsidiary.
Inland Rail is currently undertaking a recruitment process for a new Chief Executive and interim arrangements have been put in place until the position is filled.
