Council responded to a complaint about a barbeque impeding pedestrian access on Church Street.
In investigating the complaint, it has been established that the trader did not have a permit for a barbeque at this site.
We are working with the trader to ensure compliance with relevant local laws and that permits have been issued. Council has supported the trader to continue to operate while the matter is resolved.
Council is supportive of our traders and improving the quality and accessibility of our Bayside activity centres, which are the lifeblood of our municipality.
